Ask the Ship's Computer
v1.14.07 Oct 2026RiftCommand team
The old fleet hands say the ship knows more than the people aboard. Now you can ask it.
Press C on the bridge and a question line opens. Ask about your ship, your crew, the factions, the sector. The answers are clipped, in capitals, and without courtesy.
It will tell you what the records hold. It will not give an order.
In plain words
- During a mission, open the ship's computer from the dock or press C, then type a question.
- It answers about your ship, your crew and what the fleet records.
- It informs. It never acts.
- When the records hold nothing, it says so.
Cost: no order used and no energy. Free captains get a daily allowance; the panel shows what is left.
